The Tennessee Health Care Association has named Ben Stiefel, executive director of Life Care Center of Collegedale, to its board of directors for 2016-17.
Stiefel joins the other board members in directing the organization as it works to enhance the ability of its members to provide essential long-term care services for the elderly and disabled through education, advocacy and leadership.
“We have a strong leadership foundation in place, and each of our board members has deep professional backgrounds and a passionate commitment to long-term care,” said Jesse Samples, THCA executive director. “They bring insightful perspectives to our association, and we certainly appreciate their service.”
In this role, Stiefel will attend board meetings, review financial reports, participate in strategic planning and contribute to different committees.
“THCA provides so much support to the long-term care community across Tennessee,” said Stiefel. “Being able to serve on the board and various committees is a privilege and allows me the opportunity to give back to the association.”
Stiefel lives in Ringgold, Georgia, with his wife, Lori, and their three children, Brayden, Hudson and Annie Rose. He has been a member of THCA for more than eight years.
