Each year, readers of the “Chattanooga Times Free Press” vote for their favorite area businesses.

Life Care Centers of America’s local facilities, including Life Care Center of Collegedale, won first place in the Nursing Home category for the third year in a row, making them the only facilities to ever win this category (it was first presented in 2014).

The winners in all 178 categories were listed in a special edition of the paper on Sept. 30.

“We are very proud of these facilities,” said Latessa Morris, Life Care’s Eastern Division vice president. “They truly focus on what is right for the residents and strive to excel every day. It is a true testament to the mission and values of Life Care Centers of America.”

Life Care’s other facilities in the readership area are:

  • Life Care Center of Athens
  • Life Care Center of Cleveland
  • Life Care Center of Copper Basin in Ducktown
  • Life Care Center of Hixson
  • Life Care Center of Ooltewah
  • Life Care Center of Red Bank
  • Life Care Center of Rhea County in Dayton

Representatives from each facility attended the “Chattanooga Times Free Press” annual awards banquet on Sept. 29.
